Lent 2015

All the school came to St Lawrence to hear Father Peter address them about the theme of Lent with a talk entitled "Peaceful Places" and with pictures and stories about Everest.

Church Service 6th January 2015

The children thoroughly enjoyed the service in church led by Father Peter about Epiphany.

Here are the children's comments:

"The singing was very funny."

"I liked matching the papers."

"I now understand Epiphany."

"It helped me understand that the wise men did not arrive at the same time as the shepherds."

"I have learnt it is important to appreciate the birth of Jesus."

"I would like to find out more information about the relationship between King Herod and the wise men."

"I liked it because we could stand at the front and join in the service."
