Barlow Open Gardens

Barlow Open GardensWe wish to say a big thank you to all those who've volunteered to open their gardens in the past. It's been such a wonderful and enjoyable event for the church and village.

There will be no event for 2026

After careful consideration of all the circumstances surrounding Open Gardens, regrettably we have come to the conclusion to rest Barlow Open Gardens for 2026.

Therefore Open Gardens will NOT go ahead on 5th July 2026.

We would like to thank all of our supporters over the past years and will bring you news of Open Gardens 2027 in due course. Thank you for your understanding.

From: St Lawrence Church Barlow, social & fundraising committee.

Barlow, a small village in North Derbyshire, welcomes visitors to various events throughout the year and provides a warm welcome, places to stay and pubs and a cafe with great food. When held, Barlow Open Gardens is one such event not to be missed.
For several years, residents of this Derbyshire village opened their stunning gardens, set within beautiful countryside and offering a diverse display with ideas for all. Cream teas,a favourite, were served at the Church.

Organised by a dedicated team of villagers, the funds raised support the work of the village church of St. Lawrence.
Our aim is to make the next event even more special and with extra attractions.
